Annie Angstadt
Annie is an X31wker born in August after mommy developed preeclampsia. Prenatal's Annie was found to have an omphalocele and absent end diastolic flow through the umbilical cord results in IUGR. She was born at 2lbs 4oz! She spent the night at Abington and then was flown to Nemours at 24hrs old via helicopter!! Mommy crazily had a view of the helipad from which she took off! Annie spent a week at nemours after her omphalocele was taken care of and she finally tolerated a diet! While there she had quite a few GI problems but thankfully no lung or heart issues! She then was flown AGAIN back to Abington where she spent another 6.5 weeks on growing and feeding! Unfortunately feeding was not our strong suite and we were discharged with an NG tube. Annie was off the gtube until December but unforgivably needed it again in January and just got her gtube! While in the NICU we discover superhero projects and couldn’t wait to join and support the cause! Annie & mommy are now ambassadors for Abington and Nemours! Annie is also a huge Phillies and Eagles fan and got herself on the news at just 8 weeks old! .
