Charlie Shank

Charlie was born at 37wks 5days due gestational diabetes and hypertension. Charlie was unable to keep his blood sugars stable after birth leading to his 5 day stay in the NICU. Charlie is our 2nd NICU baby so, while this road was not completely unfamiliar to us, it was made more bearable thanks to The Superhero Project. In 2019 The Superhero Project helped to equip Chambersburg Hospital's NICU with AngelEye Cameras. With this technology, we were able to still see Charlie after discharge when we couldn't be at the bedside with him. Charlie is a thriving and happy little boy and it is our wish to give back and help raise funds for a cause so near and dear to our hearts.
