Mason Long
Mason was born in July 2022 via emergency c-section with meconium aspiration and severe head swelling due to a popped blood vessel from a failed vacuum delivery. Doctors rushed him to the NICU after delivery, where he was put on oxygen and a feeding tube and closely monitored after he suffered a seizure hours after birth. Thankfully, all EEG tests came back negative for brain damage, no other seizure activity was seen and the swelling began to subside. He finally was able to come home a week later – one day shy of his due date. Since then, he’s passed every neurological test and infant milestone with flying colors and continues to amaze us and make us all smile and laugh every day with his big personality.
