Matteo Joseph Carpani

Matteo was born at 28 weeks on St. Patrick’s Day 2022, weighing 2 lbs 15 oz. He was in the NICU for 70 days. Matteo’s biggest challenge in the NICU was breathing without oxygen. After he got out of the NICU he was diagnosed with Craniosynostosis. He had to wear a helmet for 2 months and had to undergo two surgeries on his skull. Matteo just celebrated his 1st birthday and is a super healthy 19 pound baby boy! He is so smart and is the happiest, most chill baby. His laugh and smiles melt me and his daddy’s hearts every day! He is out little lucky leprechaun baby and brings so much love and joy to our lives every day!!
