MILES AND COLE’S MISSION

In partnering with the Superhero Project, my goal is to help NICU families in need, that do not have the same support and resources my husband and I did.

Our NICU Story

My husband and I were blessed with our miracle babies; our twins. Miles and Cole were born in October of 2022 at 29 weeks gestation after a placental abruption at home. They spent 54 days in the NICU and showed us what it means to be real life superheroes. They fought hard and overcame some major obstacles, but ultimately were sent home together – just in time for Christmas.

During our stay, The Superhero Project showed us we were not alone. They provided us with gift cards on holidays, a Thanksgiving Meal, Pajamas, swaddles, etc. Most importantly, through the Angel Eye Camera System, they provided us with24/7 access to our babies for almost 2 months apart.

We are still blown away by the support we received from our family, our friends, and our workplaces. Through their love, generosity, and sacrifices I was able to spend every single day with my babies while they were in the NICU.

Kelly Ross

My name is Kelly Ross and I am a NICU Mom to 3 superheroes. I work full-time as the Office Manager for the Philadelphia Building Trades Council, where I assist with various Charity Events throughout the year.

I am a Mom to 3 wonderful children. My oldest, Lacey, was born in June of 2020 (during the height of Covid) with an Apgar score of ‘1’ at 37 weeks gestation. She spent one week in the NICU at Holy Redeemer Hospital followed by another week at CHOP after turning blue at home.

Two years later, my husband and I were blessed with our miracle babies; our twins. Miles and Cole were born in October of 2022 at 29 weeks gestation after a placental abruption at home.
